Research has shown that managers struggle with the transition from “Individual contributors or Managers of Self” to “Managers of Others” and are usually ill-equipped for their new role.

The Management Excellence Academy addresses the learning and development needs of individuals who manage frontline staff. They have the most influence on how frontline employees feel about their job and the organization, and how much discretionary effort they are willing to invest to achieve corporate objectives.

The learning objective of this Academy is to facilitate the development of effective managerial skills such as delegation, team building, staff management, staff development, influence, constructive criticism, performance management, leadership communication, decision quality, managerial courage. This cadre of staff typically have 4 to 8 years of work experience and are team leaders, supervisors or managers.
